March’s Embroidery Pattern

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

I really liked what everyone did with the Heart, Bird and Flowers pattern that was last January’s free pattern.  Quite a few of you stated that you liked that style.  For this month’s pattern I did a simular folk style pattern with a bunny.  Can’t wait to see what you do with this one.

December’s Embroidery Pattern

Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

I have been thinking and thinking, “What should the December pattern be?”  Then I thought why not a freakishly cute penguin!  So, Ta Dah!

Do you remember the extremely cute penguin that was in a Bugs Bunny cartoon?  I believe that character was called the Hoboken Penguin.  This pattern is my nod to that sweet cartoon creature.

Bird & Flower Sampler by Andrea Zuill  So, trying to decide on this months pattern was hard for me.  I just couldn’t come to grips with doing a Thanksgiving pattern.  I thought pilgrim or maybe turkey, but I just couldn’t.  Then I thought, hey I’ll go P.C. and doing a Native American design, but I’m not Native American so is that really P.C..  I finally went with a somewhat traditional sampler.  It’s a bit folk artsy.  I hope you enjoy it.

October’s Free Embroidery Pattern! Ta, Da….

Pumkin Girl by Andrea Zuill, aka BadbirdHere is October’s embroidery pattern.  I kind of cheated.  You might notice that this is the line drawing for a Halloween print I have in my Etsy store.  I have been so busy it seemed the easiest thing to do.  I have my first class I will be teaching this Saturday and I have been organizing my thoughts.  There wasn’t enough though left to create a original Halloween pattern.  Hope that is Okay.
