I’ve been up to stuff.

Kinglet by Andrea Zuill

You probably have noticed that I haven’t been blogging much lately.  I’ve had a lot on going on.  Here is what I have been up to:

1.  Designing the above print, Kinglets, which will soon be available.

2.  After naming the apricot tree in the front yard Mister Snack-y, I have discovered that there is a limit to the amount of apricots a human should eat.

3. I have been procrastinating about buying new bras.  My current, and only,  bra is a sad looking beige thing.  I hate shopping for bras.  It’s hard to find a bra that is comfortable

and that has the extra support beams I need.

5.  My friend for 15 years has died.  He was my bird.  Sigh….

6.  My daughter has come back from college.  Her boyfriend came to visit.  I miss being able to walk around the house naked.

7.  I am angry because after losing a bunch of weight I have gained half of it back.  So angry….

8.  I have just started a new retail space at the Cedros Design District in Solana Beach, CA.  It’s a little cubby hole full of fun.

9.  I have a leak under my kitchen  sink.

That is that.

I saw you on The Jealous Curator’s blog today. She had lots of nice things to say about you.

    I lost 40 lbs in 2008 and gained back 45 in 2009. It’s frustrating. I hate it.

Best of luck on your retail space. If I didn’t live in the middle of nowhere, I’d gladly hand my life’s savings to you at your cash register.

What’s the name of your store?!

I want to hear more about the store, too!
Sorry about the bird, leak, & weight, but at least if bad things come in threes, then you have had your share & better times are on the way.

On bra shopping, find a lingerie store and go get fitted. I took a friend, and we shared a lot of laughter and learned how to get a good fit. It was worth the $60.00 for that first new bra. We both look trimmer without dieting (amazing what a good foundation will do), and clothes fit better. And know we know how to shop for a bra anywhere! Happy hunting!
