So you have seen my blog on Thunder Mountain in Imlay, NV. Now I present you with another type of personal expression in architecture. When traveling not too far from Thunder Mountain I spotted another unusual group of buildings. We were traveling thru ranchlands in Yerington, NV.
This is Masini Ranch. The architecture is a nod to historic archectural styles like gothic and roman, with a heavy leaning toward personal expression.
The workmanship appears to be excellent and I believe they where working on buildings the day we where there.
Rich or poor, some people feel a strong pull to create unusual and beautiful structures.
What fun it must be to be able to express yourself in such a large scale.

My husband and I drive through there about three times a year heading to Las Vagas for our trade shows and I still cant get enough of the architectural styles/structures… styles you would not think to see in Yerington. I wonder if the ranch open to the public to tour. I would LOVE to see the interior of this ranch home. It would be so awesome if they are open for tour.
