One thing you will notice when you go to Yellowstone is that there are Buffalo everywhere. They are as thick as the mosquitoes, yet I suspect that a citronella candle will do little to keep them at bay.
It’s still spring in Yellowstone. There are lots babies. This group of buffalo lounged next to the Old Faithful Inn. You can’t see them, but there are two more baby buffs hidden behind the trees.
I wanted to kiss that baby so bad, but I thought how embarassing it would be to be killed while trying to kiss a buffalo.
Nothing like a good dust roll.

Look around on the trees. They are shedding their down and it can be spun into yarn…if you’re into that. When we went last year, I managed to get enough buffalo down for a 200 yard skein.
Yarn? Inneresting.
I’d like to kiss that baby, too. And ride the big one. And give it a bath and brush it.
