I have finished one of the two owl quilts that I wrote about a short time ago. I had a number of problems, some of which include accidentally cutting the background fabric when removing embroidery stitches that I did not like.
The quilt reminds me of a pennant. It’s a bit large on the top than on the bottom. But, this seems to work. I really like the contrast between the white panels and the black background. It’s a small quilt, measuring 19″ x 13″.

I love it! So ornate! I love french knots, although, I can never get mine just right.
