Such a little bird….

I’ve been painting again and I have painted some little birds.  Since spring is here, little birds are everywhere.  I believe these birds have a bad case of the Spring Hormonals.  Their chirps are loud, they’re fighting a lot, and when I was hiking the other day I was almost mugged by a bunting.

Are they being bad birds? These are really nice. Lovely stuff.

The birds here are like that too!
We have swallows who nest under our veranda, and the dive bombing has begun already.
It gets progressively aggressive as the summer goes on, they especially enjoy intimidating the dog!
I love these paintings, by the way.

Love them! You have such a nice style!

Yeah, the birds are a little wacko around here, as well. There is a pretty aggressive mocking bird that challenges me whenever I come within 50 feet of its nesting area.

Mugged by a bunting? Too much! It really is great to see song birds again. When I first started hearing them in Marchish, after such a dark quiet winter, I couldn’t get over their sound. It’s funny how quickly I can forget to hear it now that it has been a month or so

Oh how I love them! I think they are actually some of my favorite pieces of yours. That is a huge deal considering I love them all so much.
