Where is the Snake?

Snake in the Grass, quilt

Okay, Okay! I told you the name of the quilt and showed you some images of it, but I didn’t include the snake after which the quilt is named (Snake in the Grass, quilt). So, here it is. Now leave me alone. Not really. All your comments show you care. oxox

After I am done with the embroidery on the blue background fabric I will be appliqueing color shapes onto the white panels.

This is really beautiful. If you could name one influence for this piece what would it be….? It reminds me some of alters/artwork I have seen for Dios de los Muertos. It’s really wonderful.
