Well, I started my new quilt. I am happy with the colors, but I will be playing around with the layout more. It will be real interesting when I add that large white panels. I never added large panels to a quilt before.
p.s.- Someone just asked me how and where the color panels would be on this quilt. Here is the current idea I have for the blue background and white panels.

it is wonderfully calming to quilt at night isn’t it? I am still working on the quilted shawl. I am sorry you abandoned the Queen- I rather liked her…maybe you could use her for the backing for this new one. I like the colors and the appliqué, very much.
