White Deer: I’m starting on a new Quilt
I finished creating paintings for my show in Texas. All that is left is the shipping. So, I now have time at night to start a new quilt. Here is the beginning sketch and some possible color fabric choices. The dark gold flower pattern will be the background and the light white floral print will be the deer. I will be using tons of different fabrics, but these are my newest purchases just for this quilt. I will try to blog about each new step in making this quilt.

Your sketch looks great. I am very interested to see how you make this quilt. I’m working on a quilt with an ambitious (for me) amount of applique. I’m still trying to figure out how I want to do the applique. How are you going to do yours?

Has this quilt been finished? I love your deer! I have been looking for a deer/doe to get tattooed on my other arm- a half sleeve. I would love to use your deer!
